Lauren Cox, FNP-C, CDCES

Lauren grew up in the Chicago area. She earned a B.A. in Spanish at Southwestern University in Texas and her B.S. in Nursing from North Dakota State University in 2000. She spent many years in Mexico working in church ministry, education, and Spanish translation. Lauren moved to Norfolk in 2015 and resumed her nursing career, working for 6 years as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Global. Lauren is passionate about empowering patients to strengthen physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. As a bilingual provider, she also looks forward to serving our Spanish-speaking community. Lauren has 3 wonderful grown children, a cat, and 2 dogs. She enjoys walking, reading, yoga, tai chi, gardening, and travel.
